With E3 finished, we did not get any information on Assassin's Creed 2. However, what I can tell you is that I am certain it is in production after reading the Ubisoft forums lately, where a Ubisoft moderator asks for a list of features you want to see in the next game. Take that however you wish, but to me it sounds like the next game is far into development.
On another note, Ubisoft also released information on a game called I Am Alive, which is being developed by the same people who produced Assassin's Creed. Jade Raymond is not working on this title, according to Ubisoft.
To get more information on this new title, go see Wikipedia, or Gametrailers.com for the trailer.

With July here, we still know nothing of another Assassin's Creed game, however us Assassin's Creed fans do have the new Prince of Persia to look forward to which was announced by Ubisoft last month along with a trailer! I will not be creating a new site for Prince of Persia, but be sure to check out our affiliates who are hard at work to bring you up to date content on the next PoP game coming this fall.
E3 is also coming fast and nothing is expected to be announced from Ubisoft about Assassin's Creed 2 as of yet, but we should get to see some actual gameplay of PoP.

Although I don't have much new content up, I have been working hard behind the scene for exciting new features on AC-Gamer.com. I want all of the features to be released at the same time, which is why it is taking so long.
All of the features in the past that I promised are still in development and are taking longer then expected. The major features I am working on are:
-Contents & Prizes
-AC-Gamer Guide Submission (sort of like a wikipedia)
-Content Management system
You may be thinking 'How will the last item help our experience at AC-Gamer?' Well you will have to find out, but I promise that you will enjoy the features when they are ready.

It seems that the developers have listened to the critics that said Assassin's Creed's gameplay was repetitive. The PC version, which releases March 28th, will have a few new investigation types.
Console players can only hope that their version of the game will get this as an update or will be available to purchase a new copy to be able to have these new features.

"The console original was criticised for a lack of variety once you progress into the game. Ubisoft is trying to iron out the complaints with four new investigation types.
And they are; Archer assassination, rooftop race challenge, merchant stand destruction challenge and escort challenge."
